NAIROBI Cheap Deshaun Watson Jersey , April 2 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan police said Wednesday they have launched investigations in the assassination of radical Muslim cleric, Abubakar Sheriff alias Makaburi on Tuesday evening in Mombasa.
Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo also appealed to anyone with information regarding the 18:45 incident to come forward and inform the police or call 999 or 112 for possible arrest.
Kimaiyo said five persons were shot at and unfortunately two died on the spot by unknown assailants who escaped immediately escaped.
"Police officers responded swiftly and are currently in hot pursuit of the assailants while investigations have been launched to determine the motive of the attack and to effect the arrest of the persons involved in this heinous attack," he said in Nairobi.
Kimaiyo said he has directed all police commanders to intensify beats and patrols across the country, enhance strategic screening and ensure that the level of vigilance is also increased.

His remarks came as British and U.S. governments called for the thorough investigations of the recent insecurity incidents in the coastal city of Mombasa.
In separate statements issued in Nairobi, the British and American envoys called for restraint and urged the police to move swiftly to arrest the perpetrators of such criminal acts.
"The UK condemns the recent violence on the Kenyan coast, particularly the recent attack on church-goers in Likoni on March 23. We are also concerned by the shooting of Sheikh Abubakar Shariff and a second individual on April 1," British High Commissioner Christian Turner said.
"We echo calls for calm and restraint emanating from local community leaders at the Coast Cheap Johnathan Joseph Jersey , and encourage urgent dialogue between all communities. It is vital that the people responsible for these crimes are held to account under the law, and in that vein we urge the authorities to conduct a full investigation into these incidents," he added.

"We call on the government to undertake full investigations of the murders and the terrorist attack and to hold those responsible accountable through the Kenyan justice system," Godec said in a statement.

Makaburi was last week quoted of justifying the killing of non- Muslims following the government decision to send troops to deal with rag tag Al-Shabaab terror group. He repeatedly accused the police of the outright execution of Muslims.
Meanwhile, Kimaiyo said investigators are following crucial leads with a view to arresting suspects behind the three simultaneous explosions.
He said about 900 persons have so far been arrested and processed following the blasts with those found with no identification documents being charged with the offense of being in Kenya illegally or failing to register.
He said students have been released and some are waiting for the verification of their documents while others are behind held for further interrogation.
"During the operation Cheap J.J. Watt Jersey , we recovered two grenades and two improvised explosive devices (IED). We are following crucial leads with a view of arresting the persons involved in this criminal act, " Kimaiyo said.
The arrests and recovery of grenades came as the police admitted they have not arrested any suspect in connection to Monday's explosions which rocked Eastleigh, killing at least six people and injured 31 others.
The three blasts targeted two small restaurants and a local clinic in the densely populated area of Eastleigh, an area often known as "Little Mogadishu" because of it's predominantly Somali population.
